New Era Incorporates Vetaphone Technology

Paterson, NJ (June 6, 2018)…New Era Converting, one of America’s leading manufacturers of processing equipment, has given an unqualified commendation to Danish pioneers Vetaphone for the seamless integration of their corona technology into the company’s bespoke range of coating and laminating lines. The specialist manufacturer highlights the importance of quality from ancillary suppliers.

Speaking for New Era, President Bob Pasquale stated: “Our business is very specialised, with customers placing high emphasis on quality and reliability, while at the same time looking for turnkey solutions.  In these circumstances it is vital that the integrity of our sub suppliers’ technology matches that of our own products.  In Vetaphone we have found an excellent synergy that dovetails with our own rigorous quality control.”

New Era manufactures at its 48,000 sq ft facility in New Jersey and sells to a range of blue-chip customers around the world.  Each machine is purpose built for specific products that include the converting of paper, film, foil, fabric, foam, plastic, and flexible glass products – in fact, ‘any substrate on a roll’, according to Pasquale.  “We are also involved with clean room, dark room, and explosion proof environments, and specialise in custom applications,” he added.

New Era first became aware of Vetaphone technology 10 years ago, and monitored its performance closely before working together with a customer that was installing a 140” line in Canada.  Since then, a second Vetaphone system has been specified: a 60” system in the US, but as Bob Pasquale explained: “In wide web we can only recommend and guide the end user – the final choice is theirs – but we know from experience that Vetaphone will respond quickly to our requests and are confident that they will deliver on their promises.”
